Duration

This 3 day Train the Trainer programme can be run over a shorter period or on a modular basis depending on delegate level, numbers and operational constraints. It can be run as an in house or open course.

Course Profile

This programme is certificated by Stonebow - yielding a 'Practical Training Certificate' (PTC)

The programme designed to introduce delegates to the skills of running on-job training, ie. practical, skill based task training. Delegates spend over half of the course putting together and delivering 2 on-job training sessions. This programme is highly participative with discussions and exercises. There is homework to be completed on days 1 and 2. This course can be run with 4 to 6 delegates.

Target Audience

Managers, Supervisors and others made responsible for training newcomers or maintaining operational standards of others within a team.

Benefits

PTC will enable participants to be able to train their staff in the tasks involved in their job, in short, clear and effective training sessions, either one-to-one or in small groups. Therefore delegates have the means to ensure that operational and service standards - in food and beverage, administration or accommodation - are introduced and maintained to the company standards.

PTC forms the foundation of trainer skills, building confidence and providing a recognised qualification.
